Why does everyone talk about hypnosis as the main tool to stop smoking and how does that affect you?

I tried hypnosis and acupuncture and neither one helped, but the nicotine gum was a lot of help.

Instead of saying you do not want to be irritable, say that you are calm and relaxed. Repeat the statements you have as many times as you want. Afterwards, imagine yourself going up the stairs, counting from zero to ten.
