I went from a size 18 down to a size 6 and I weighted 175 lbs and I weight 124 lbs today. When I walked in the door I was a size 48 waist approaching fast the size 50 waist and I weighted 268 lbs and now I’m at 185 lbs.

Hi, my name is Lisa Olmstead and I’m 54 years old. Hi, I’m Scott Olmstead and I’m 57 years old. I went from a size 18 down to a size 6 and I weighted 175 lbs and I weight 124 lbs today. When I walked in the door I was a size 48 waist approaching fast the size 50 waist and I weighted 268 lbs and now I’m at 185 lbs.

Hi, I’m Sylvia Huelsman and I’m over 60. I came to Positive Changes because I was tired of losing weight over and over again. What finally brought me here was we had a retirement party for someone I used to work with and we took a picture. When I looked at my picture I thought, oh my goodness, I need to do something drastic. So, I had tried all kinds of other things and I saw the ad for Positive Changes and I decided to give that a try. My background is in education and mental health and both of the things they do here made a lot of sense to me. We had classes. Nutrition classes were very helpful for me. The deep relaxation that we do helps to get what they are trying to teach you into your head. I thought both of those were very important to me. Everything before has always been what you can’t do. With Positive Changes they make a real effort to tell you what you can do. All the changes that you can make that will be helpful to you in maintaining this for a very long time, for the rest of your life. It was easy. It was just small changes. One of the things they advocate is drinking water. That was a struggle for me because I never drank water. I always had something in it like coffee, tea, colas whatever. So, that was one of the things that’s been a lifestyle change. They don’t tell you that there is anything that you can’t eat. It’s generally you can eat what you want but a lot of it has to do will the balance of what you eat. They encourage you to exercise. I’m now exercising more than I have exercised my entire life. One of the things that have helped me a lot are some of the affirmations that we do. I feel so good that I wouldn’t want to go back to the way I was. I really feel that I own my weight loss to the Positive Changes program because it gives you all the tools that you need. Not only to lose the weight to begin with but to continue that weight loss for the rest of my life.

Hi, my name is Lisa Olmstead and I’m 54 years old. Hi, I’m Scott Olmstead and I’m 57 years old. We came to Positive Changes because we wanted to make a difference in our lives. We felt we both needed to lose some weight. We knew a person before that was an avid smoke and smoked all his life that had been hypnotized and had stopped smoking. I came across an article in the newspaper that was for Positive Changes and I knew the success that this other person had and I thought that is something we should try. I went from a size 18 down to a size 6 and I weighted 175 lbs and I weight 124 lbs today. When I walked in the door I was a size 48 waist approaching fast the size 50 waist and I weighted 268 lbs and now I’m at 185 lbs. From the moment we walked in the door we knew this was the place that we should be. Everyone from the receptionist to our hypnotist, they made this the place for us to be. The tapes are all that you have to do. You listen in the morning. You listen at night. They changed our bad habits into good habits. It was just easy. We didn’t give up anything that we normally did. We ate what we wanted to. We stopped snacking. We don’t drink pop anymore. Gone from whole milk to 1% milk. It’s just normal things you should know how to take care of yourself that they reinforced in us. We wanted a program that we could continue to live our lives and do what we wanted to do without counting calories and keeping charts. We just wanted to live our lives and lose the weight. If you’re willing to give up 20-30 minutes of your day to listen to the CD’s it will work for you. It’s a good program. They’ve helped change our lives. We’ve maintained our weight for 3 years and we encourage others to do the same thing.
