I used self-hypnosis to numb my gums so that my dentist could perform my wisdom tooth extraction without any use of local anesthetic.
Came out of hypnosis without any pain and if you notice, I could talk rather normally since there wasn’t any numbing anaesthetic to make me drool
Started eating my lunch (hot food) after like 10 to 15mins (even though the dentist advised against it).
Very minimal spotting on blood and no bleeding because I can control blood flow using hypnosis. No pain at all and it was overall a wonderful experience

If you want to be in the state of trance or focused concentration, you should know the ways on how to Perform Self Hypnosis. Just follow these instructions to perform hypnosis by yourself:
1.To be able to do a self-hypnosis, you need a comfortable, private and a quiet place where you can sit comfortably in a couch or chair.
2.As you sit or lie, make sure that you do not cross the legs as well as any part of the body. It is necessary that you will not be disturbed for at least thirty minutes.
3.Close your eyes and eliminate any feelings of stress, anxiety and fear. Concentrate and try to keep your mind black. Relax and imagine every part of your body becomes lighter. Take slow and deep breaths.
4.As you exhale, visualize the negative thoughts disappear in a dark cloud and as you inhale, imagine a bright force coming with energy and light.
5.Picture yourself in a scene wherein you are in a high place and you can see everything below. Imagine that you are going down the stairs, counting each step and feel as if you are drifting further into deep relaxation.
6.Then, it is time to address yours issues and concerns. Always use future tense when speaking and avoid using negative connotations. Instead of saying you do not want to be irritable, say that you are calm and relaxed. Repeat the statements you have as many times as you want. Afterwards, imagine yourself going up the stairs, counting from zero to ten.

Hypnotherapy — An Efficient and Effective Therapy
Unlike psychotherapy which may entail many sessions, hypnotherapy often generates much faster results. Many of life’s thorniest issues can be resolved with three to six hypnotherapy sessions. Here are just some of the issues I commonly see in my Seattle hypnotherapy practice that have had excellent results.
Weight Loss Hypnosis
My private clients are thrilled with their weight loss results! Some have reduced their weight by thirty pounds or more and kept it off.
I recommend a four-session package to get started with monthly follow-up sessions as needed. You may also take my eight session class in addition to your four private sessions or as a stand-alone course of action. The class includes several CDs, a DVD, and a book of handouts. Student results vary and depend in part on practicing and applying their new skills outside of class.
Quit Smoking with Hypnotherapy
Quitting smoking is much easier and much more likely to be permanent with the help of a hypnotherapist/EFT practitioner. In my Seattle hypnotherapy practice, I have helped many people stop smoking — even some who have smoked for more than thirty years. Most have stopped smoking between the first and second session and are delighted to find that the desire to smoke is simply gone.
My smoking cessation program includes a book and a CD. You will learn Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) also which helps greatly reduce the stress associated with quitting smoking. My clients have had few if any withdrawal symptoms.
Emotional Issues Resolved More Quickly
Not everyone realizes how effective hypnotherapy and EFT are for resolving emotional issues. Whether your issues are from childhood or are more recent, these techniques help and help quickly. I have helped people with their anxiety, depression, and self esteem issues, as well as their deeply held negative beliefs.
Medical Issues, Pain, and Accelerated Healing
The subconscious mind controls our autonomic nervous system which runs our body. By communicating with the subconscious during hypnosis, we can uncover the emotional cause of our illness or pain. We can also direct the subconscious to accelerate healing, reduce or eliminate pain, and reduce or eliminate unpleasant symptoms. Although hypnotherapy is not to be considered medical care, it is an effective adjunctive therapy to medical treatment.
Traumas and Phobias — How Hypnotherapy, NLP, an EFT Can Help
Hypnotherapy, NLP, and EFT are simply the best techniques for trauma and phobias. Using these techniques I have helped many clients reduce the emotional impact of traumatic events to zero. Likewise, phobias can be quickly and easily reduced or eliminated; whether’s a fear of flying, of heights, of small, confined spaces, or whether it’s a fear of snakes or spiders. These types of fears limit our freedom, so eliminating them brings us more opportunities to enjoy life as well as give us greater peace of mind.

Steven and Jane Higgins failed over and over again with the NHS for years but quit with us in 2 hours!
Steve suffered a heart attack four years ago. That was a wake-up call for him and his wife to pack up smoking but
they could not quit with any of the methods used by the NHS. They had exhausted everything including, patches,
gum, lozenges and finally Zyban and absolutely nothing worked. They both came to see us on Monday 8th
September 2008 in utter desperation, and to their surprise, they both quit smoking on the same day. When they came
back a week later for their free check-up, this is what they had to say:
Steve: My name is Stephen from Wolverhampton. I came to see Shokat after reading about him on the internet. I first read about him 12-months ago but I thought it might be a bit expensive – but to be honest, for what he has charged us, it?s the best money I have ever spent.
I (have) tried all sorts before patches Zyban nicotine replacement you know inhalers chewing gum willpower and nothing seems to work. I was a bit sceptical when I came here last Monday as to whether this will work but I have to say, it?s worked a treat.
He just told me now that I am officially a non-smoker (with the aid of a carbon monoxide monitor) and it?s likethat was my revelationthat (is) what I have been waiting for. I am a non smoker and I don?t intend to go back to smoking again. Also, I found it a lost easier then I had thought. Thank you Shokat.
Jane: I am Jane. I am Steve?s wife. I am also from Wolverhampton and thanks to Shokat, I am also a non-smoker. It?s been a week now and I really had no trouble at all.
I have tried so many different ways. I have gone cold-turkey before; I have tried patches, chewing gum, lozenges
(oh that was horrible). This is a much nicer way to give up smoking.
I was talking to my daughter the other day, and she was saying how we have quit smoking, but would it work for
everybody? I was trying to explain to her what it felt like. I said, you know when you have tried having a nicotine
patch the first one is too strong and it itches and you can?t sleep, and you feel horribleit makes you like
„hyper? all the time andyou go so far, and you try and go down to the next patch, and that?s not strong enough,
and that?s when you start to think about smoking again. I said what Shokat does is that he gives you a „tailor made
nicotine patch? just for you so you don?t have any of the irritation and you have none of the bad feelings it?s the
absolute „perfect patch? for you and its tailor made for everybody that comes to see him. So she sort of understood, and it was greatand that?s how it feels, it?s lovely.
When Steve had his heart attackfour years ago, this Thursdayit was absolutely awful. That should have
stopped us both smoking but it didn?t? With the shock and everything – but you come up with excuses such as -
nicotine helps you relax which it doesn?t it?s your friend which it?s not. That?s the way you think but it?s the
wrong way to think about it. Once you get free of the cigarettes you think oh I understand now.
Steve: I will say that after the actual, I suppose, you could call it the „mental physio?, the nurse, after I had my heart
attack told me that I will never give up. I thought thanks for being so encouraging. You will never give up because
you have an addictive personality. So I just wanted to take this opportunity to say: „thank you very much nurse. I
hope you are still encouraging other heart attack patients the way you encouraged me!?
